Powerful Sedona
Sedona
Sedona is the most magical and mystic place and #teamtangy's visit surely proved itself to be one of the places that transform you from within.
Simply put, Sedona is powerful.
Reasons why I loved Sedona and why I'll be back here again and again and again
- Really cool and amazing landscapes – This red rock landscape all over will win your heart and will bring you in the awe of picturesque scenery. As soon as you enter the city, the beautiful sight of red mountains will follow you everywhere.
- Unique experience close to nature – The views that you will never get tired of. The sunrise and sunset will leave you with a special memory for a lifetime.
- Fascinating Geography with vortices and energy centers – This was a whole new experience to learn about energy centers and the healing power that is beneath the surface of the earth.
- Interesting History with mystic experiences – This experience city houses numerous psychic readers and healers. I will leave this for you to figure out on your own.
- Vegetarian-friendly farm-to-table options – Being the touristy spot, there are plenty of food options, but I had some of the most amazing vegetarian meals in Sedona that I will remember y entire life.
- Another reason to come back here is that there are endless hikes in Sedona that will always leave you wanting for more. Also, there are adjacent cities like Page, Flagstaff, and Lake Powell (3-4 hours’ drive) for an extended trip to Sedona.
Travel
Sedona is about 2 hrs drive from Phoenix, so count on the time to reach the city before you can start exploring. Highly recommend renting the car in Sedona for more flexibility however there are plenty of uber options as well.
It is best to stay within the city since everything is close by and you want to maximize your time for doing fun stuff in Sedona. However, there are a few wellness retreats and resort options in the heart of Sedona for more exclusive holistic experiences.
Bring comfortable shoes and a lot of enthusiasm.
Itinerary
Below is a 3-day highlights of Sedona -
Day 1
Start off with a good brunch or a meal with plenty of amazing options and fuel up. Vee
vomeena just did the trick
Since driving into the city is an absolute treat to watch, I would recommend going around the loop and having that done so that you can decide if you want to exclude or include anything in particular. Parking for the most common hiking places gets full so try to balance it out where you find availability.
The first day covered just absorbing the red rock scenery and feeling good about choosing this beautiful city to celebrate life.
Since most hikes are free its best to pick and decide what attracts you most
The most recommended hikes with the most rewarding views are
- Devils Bridge
- Subway canyon
- Cathedral Rock
- Bell Rock
- Airport Mesa Loop
Each scenery brought a lot of contentment to my heart and sometimes it was hard to believe that I did that. The level of the hikes was challenging enough and climbing the rocks was my favorite thing to do.
Another unique experience was to the energy vortex tour. The fascinating knowledge behind how the vortices are formed and how the water is stored in the rocks takes nature being a miracle to a new level.
Beneath the endless beauty beats a healing heart. Sedona has long been regarded as a place both sacred and powerful. Sedona vortexes (the proper grammatical form ‘vortices’ is rarely used) are thought to be swirling centers of energy that are conducive to healing, meditation, and self-exploration. These are places where the earth seems especially alive with energy. Many people feel inspired, recharged, or uplifted after visiting a vortex.
The four best-known Sedona vortexes are found at Airport Mesa, Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Boynton Canyon—each radiating its own particular energy. Some are thought to produce energy flowing upward while in others the energy spirals downward, entering the earth.
Sedona can transform lives.
That’s its true power. The raw physical beauty of the landscape automatically recalibrates your sense of wonder. Embrace the spectacular. Accept the astonishing. This is a place that inspires, recharges, uplifts soothe, restores and so much more.
