White, bright & beautiful..Clearwater đđâ±
Are you a tourist or a traveler?
Well, I would say for me it depends on where I am. Sometimes all the touristy things make sense cause a bucket list is important... and sometimes just to explore and discover your own trip goals as you go along is the right thing to do as a traveler.
My recent trip to Clearwater Florida as a result of no planning but landing in very beautiful Florida and enjoy what it had to offer.
Clearwater is about 35 mins from Tampa airport and very easy to get around.
Clearwater FLâs Pier 60 is also an impeccable place to see the most magical sunsets and sunrises.
I couldnât get enough of it.
The beach is studded with beautiful coastal towns in both north and south direction and was an absolute pleasure to drive along.
Since Clearwater is loaded with touristy things like bars and water activities, staying in the neighboring beach towns can be a great idea too..maybe for the next trips :)
Towards south -
Indian Rocks beach
North Redington beach
Madeira Beach
Treasure island beach
St Pete beach
Towards North
Dunedin
HoneyMoon Island State Park
Palm Springs
Tarpon Spring
Among all the short stops the best surprise was Tarpon Springs which is called as sponge capital of the country and has highest Greek population living. The place gives a very pleasant greek feel with amazing restaurants and bakeries.
All we did in Florida was to be near water and that was very relaxing and fun!
Also checking out lively food places and dressing up for dinner was the next favorite thing. Some of the recommendations go like -
Frenchyâs - there are 4 of them
Clearsky cafe
Bassimo
Maggie May
Coco crush Bar
Sekushi
Spotted Donkey
Saltyâs
Crabbyâs
Florida is the sunshine state for a reason... plenty of sun so don't forget the sunblock, hats and glasses!
See ya next time!
